Juggernaut Log: Hawaii Edition 39
No Shame: 1. Don't be shy. "Come on out, Bobby. No shame!" 2. Wow, doesn't anything embarrass you?" "Wow, Elmer, no shame!"
SATURDAY. Woke up and felt good. Today I turned 24 like Kobe. Last year was 23 Like Jordan. Every year I get older I appreciate life more. Thank god for every breathe that he gives me each day. Na mean? Haha.
It was our last day for our family reunion. We headed to North Shore for our picnic at the beach. North Shore is known for holding many surfing competitions. On our way there, we passed by the location for the Battle of Kipapa. The story behind that was that it was such a big battle that if you were to walk across, you would not feel the bottom of the valley. It was piled high with bodies and blood would run through the rivers for a while.
We also passed by the pineapple plains where legend says there lived a man eating giant. Pretty homo if you ask me. Choose to eat out men. Haha. Also passed by sugar cane. A couple minutes down we also passed King Kamehameha's birthing stone. It was a location said to be used for birthing King Kamehameha. Basically, his moms got laid there. Haha.

We finally arrived at Ali'i Beach after getting lost for a while. We ate, played tug of war, volleyball, double dutch, jump rope, football, played games with the little kids & all types of fun. My nephew Lucas also learned how to box as well. We also saw a sea turtle on the beach, there was a family of sea turtles swimming with us in the waters as well. We finally discussed our next family reunion. Next one is in Lake Tahoe in 3 years.

Haleiwa is also known for their shaved ice at Matsumoto. Long lines with shaved ice and ice cream at the bottom. Lines were ridiculous, like it was black friday. We also stopped by the famous Dole Plantation. The plantation is known not only for their pineapples but also for their big maze. We saw this old dude riding in the truck bed on top of all these bushes. Not a safe thing to do.

We stopped at Waikele for some shaved ice w/ ice cream at the bottom. The only difference between Matsumoto's and the stand next to Sports Authority is said to be the ice. Supposedly Matsumoto's has finer ice. Ehhhhh watevers. Still as good and only for 3 bucks.

After we stopped at my cousins house to shower, we headed to Mililani Mauka for UFC 100. Ate food & drank beers. Damn Akiyama won. Suprise suprise. Another win for an Asian. Haha. Michael Bisping got knocked the fuck out tho, with a flying superman punch to the mat. No mercy. Brock Lesnar "Frank Mir has a make believe belt". Haha. They have a love-hate relationship.

P.S. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Miss you guys, i'll try to live it up in Hawaii for yall. Haha.
